Dive Into Ideas That Inspire, Inform, and Transform

I’ve always believed that stories make sense of the world, even the smallest ones. As a staff writer for El Estoque, Monta Vista High School’s student news publication, I’ve spent the past few years searching for those stories: the ones that live in the laughter before a basketball game, the quiet focus of a student performer, or the friendship that makes early mornings a little less tiring.

Every story or interview teaches me something new about people, perspective, and the moments that connect us. Outside of the newsroom, I’m the same curious observer, debating story ideas with friends, or finding creative energy in everyday life. Writing has become how I understand my world.
