About Me
I’m Aaryan Sharma, a Monta Vista High School student passionate about the intersection of storytelling, mental health, and artificial intelligence. As a nationally ranked speech competitor, I’ve earned finalist titles at tournaments like Arizona State, Cal Berkeley, and Stanford in Humorous Interpretation, where I perform satirical pieces exploring everything from toxic masculinity to cultural absurdities in American school systems. I use comedy as a lens to examine deep social issues—race, gender roles, and generational divides—because I believe laughter creates the space for empathy and change.
My intellectual interests expand beyond the stage. As a semifinalist at the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS), I presented original research on predicting mood swings and mental health outcomes using neural networks trained on lifestyle, emotional, and demographic data. I’ve published my work in the Curieux Academic Journal and explored LLM bias mitigation at InspiritAI. My podcast and upcoming YouTube channel further explore how AI and human behavior collide in surprising ways.
As founder of Future Blueprints, I lead a nonprofit combining satire, advocacy, and digital storytelling to highlight humanitarian issues and freedom of expression. Whether mentoring novice speech students, writing investigative articles for Res Novae, or analyzing Inside Out sequels at the Stanford Journalism Institute, I’m constantly chasing the same goal: to tell stories—onstage, in code, or in print—that challenge assumptions and connect people across difference.
